MiM Extends Support for Hunger Strike For SCs and STs


MiM Leader Akbaruddin Owaisi Giving Speech at Hunger Strike Orgainzed for SC and STs in Hyderabad.


Hyderabad February 25: Ongoing indefinite hunger strike launched by(CPIM) State Secretary and Kula Vivaksha Porata Samithi ( (KVPS) Caste Discrimination Porata Samithi) B V Raghavulu received solidarity from all the political parties including Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) on the gross injustice with dalits, scheduled castes and tribes in the state.

MIM Floor Leader Akbaruddin Owaisi expressing solidarity with CPI M leader Raghavulu for the cause SC, ST welfare and development, said that all major political parties in the state showcase themselves as the champions for the cause of Minorities, SC, ST and BC development while in opposition but after assuming power they forget these sections. He added that these practice being followed by all the major political parties ignoring the welfare of the backward sections. He said that the banks loans for Minorities, SC, ST and BC not even reaches the 5 percent target.

Expressing support Akbaruddin Owaisi asserted to raise the issue in ongoing assembly session and out side the assembly and stated that the hunger strike launched by CPI M Leader was for the good cause. He said that 16.5 percent sizeable population lives in the state but the government was oral promise, nothing being implemented practically. Raghauvulu added that every budgetary allocation is declining for SC castes but the allocated budget is not spending for the welfare.

He said MIM party would extend all support in the struggle launched for SC and ST welfare. He added that the government was giving away huge lands to Multi National Companies but no land is being distributed among the poor people. B V Raghuvulu said that expressing thanks for the solidarity extended by all political parties.
